Our kiddo is in her 4th season with Illinois Select. We tried out with another local mega club and found the tryouts and selections to be chaotic and not what we were hoping for. A friend introduced us to Select and the difference was obvious. Over the course of our time with the club, our daughter went from a nooblet who really wanted to learn to a starting middle in her 8th grade school season who was competent to play in all positions as needed.

In a sport where touches and reps are critical to growth, the smaller group sizes that Select holds to, the intentional focus on skill developmen coupled with playing time, and the excellent coaches who really get to know the girls make this club a great player development resource.

Its been fun too seeing the friendships develop in club that transcend school teams. They seem to always have a friend or two across the net during school ball.

Our experience at Illinois Select has been extremely positive. Maya participated in Illinois Select camps last summer and loved every part of it—the coaches were encouraging and knowledgeable, the environment was supportive, and she learned so much while genuinely having fun. Volleyball has been her passion since she started playing in 5th grade, and Illinois Select has helped nurture that passion by challenging her and helping her grow as an athlete. After such a great camp experience, she decided she wanted to keep her season going and try out for the Illinois Select National Team. Being selected for the team was an exciting moment for her, and it has only reinforced how much she loves the program. Maya most enjoys the combination of high-level training and the strong team atmosphere. She absolutely loves her teammates, and practices are something she truly looks forward to. The girls have a great time together while continuing to develop and hone their skills as a team. She’s motivated by the coaching, enjoys being challenged, and values the friendships she’s building along the way. Illinois Select has given her a place where she can work hard, improve her game, and still have fun doing what she loves.

Coach Crowe is building a club experience focused on developing girls from the inside out. Illinois Select is more than volleyball. Your daughter will experience organized practices and competitive tournaments. She will be training in an environment that demands hard work, while also shining positivity and respect on each teammate. Illinois Select provides a place to grow not only as volleyball players, but as confident young women.

One thing we love about this club is how relationships are fostered between the players and coaches. The coaches invest in the players on and off the court and really get to know them, which has really helped to boost our daughter's confidence on the court. One area she has improved on is her ability to control the ball, whether in passing, serving, or hitting. If you are looking for a club that will really understand your athlete as a player and a person, Illinois Select is it!

Illinois Select has been a great experience for our family. The coaches truly care about developing each player and building confidence. My daughter has improved her skills so much and loves being part of her team. It’s a supportive, positive environment with a great group of girls.

I literally love IL Select sooo much. The people are great and I especially like that we are talented too. I have definitely improved most on my timing for quick sets, they’re very hard for me. I would absolutely recommend IL Select for new players. I enjoy the laughter and the people. But I also really like working hard and getting better in my skills. ion goes here

I would recommend Illinois Select because you get more playing time. The best part is that you get to make new friends which is my favorite part! I have improved my attitude on the court with Illinois Select. I have become more enthusiastic and cheering on my team mates more!

I recommend Illinois Select to any family!! The coaches are the best!! They truly have helped me improve so so much. The environment is wonderful!! Every girl is a great teammate and really wants you to succeed!!
